Summary
We are looking for an AI Specialist Solution Design & GenAI for a role based on the East Coast, United States.
Role Overview
This role focuses on designing end-to-end AI/ML/GenAI solutions for pharmaceutical and healthcare business problems. The position involves working closely with business stakeholders, AI engineering teams, and platform teams to drive AI-powered transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design AI, ML, and GenAI solution architectures aligned to business objectives
- Build solution approaches using LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, AI agents, vector databases, and workflow automation
- Translate complex pharmaceutical business problems into scalable AI solutions
- Create architecture diagrams, technical blueprints, and implementation roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering teams on APIs, cloud deployment, orchestration, MLOps/LLMOps, and governance
- Drive AI solution delivery from ideation through deployment and adoption
- Support pharma-focused use cases across:
- Clinical trials
- Medical affairs
- Commercial analytics
- Patient analytics
- Drug discovery
- Regulatory and safety operations
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 8 years of experience in AI, analytics, solution design, or technology consulting
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, GenAI, NLP, deep learning, and LLM ecosystems
- Experience with:
- RAG architectures
- Vector databases
- Prompt engineering
- AI agents/workflow automation
- APIs and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- MLOps/LLMOps
- Hands-on exposure to Python and SQL
- Experience working with pharma, healthcare, or life sciences organizations is strongly preferred
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Domain Knowledge
Exposure to pharma compliance and privacy frameworks such as:
- HIPAA
- GDPR
- GxP
