Summary

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer – Java / Full Stack to join an Agile development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, and modern software engineering practices.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain new software features and application capabilities.
  • Build scalable and reliable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Follow object-oriented programming principles and software development best practices.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with team members.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure software quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical and customer-related issues.
  • Work with relational databases and write SQL queries.
  • Document technical solutions and share knowledge with the development team.
  • Follow secure coding practices and organizational development standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or above.
  • Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and development.
  • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
  • Understanding the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with secure software development practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Angular.
  • Knowledge of Node.js.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Familiarity with Gradle.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Exposure to Swift or Kotlin.
