What you will do
Johnson Controls is hiring! We are seeking an HVACSelling Sales Managerthat can apply their account management strategies tofacilitatelong-term customer relationships with targeted customers. Yourdaily responsibilities will includeplanning, forecasting,managingand delivering consistent long-term profitable branch growth and developing/leading the sales team to be the premier supplier of equipment across all building types.You\'realso responsible for actualizing account management strategies, sales planning, sales pipeline management, salesperson development/training and sales activity andestablishingand maintaining long term customer relationships with key and target owners, architects, consultingengineersand contractors to influence opportunities andmaintainaccount lists.
How you will do it
Manage account assignments to the Equipment sales team to ensure secure sales performance to plan.
Responsible for top-line growth of revenue and meeting growth objectives around gross margin and EBIT. Also responsible for meeting planobjectivesregarding trade working capital (TWC).
Provideaccurateandtimelyforecasting of sales and the corresponding allocation of sales support resources
Increase market penetration in local business by securing new customers and expanding the scope of the existing customer base with owner, architectural engineer and mechanical consultants and contractor accounts. Ensure the development and maintenance of Account Plans with allkeyand target accounts. Ensure the development of new business anddemonstratean understanding of the various channels in the market and how they inter-relate with the Branch business.
Facilitate training and ensure support resources are in place to develop sales individuals capable of selling the full scope of bundled offerings available.
Develop strategies for the local sales team consistent with the mission and objectives.
Understand the business environment of branch markets including competition,purchasingand business trends. Accountable for integration of construction sales team activity within assigned staffing geography.
Evaluate Johnson Controls? local performance in customer satisfaction and provide leadership for performance enhancement and proactive resolution of issues.
Participate as the management team representative on strategically important key accounts. Establish andmaintainpersonal long-term customer relationships with strategically important accounts to influence opportunities.
What we look for
Required
5+ years of industry experience in HVAC sales/account management and/or HVAC field operations.
3+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for the productivity or development of others.
Available for frequent travel.
Preferred
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $109,000 - $170,000 (Salary to bedeterminedby the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and?abilities of the applicant, internal equity,locationand alignment with market data.)This role offers a?competitive Bonus plan that willtake into accountindividual, group, and corporate performance.This?position includes a competitive benefits package.
