Job Duties:

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Develop a multi-threaded and distributed physical synthesis core engine in Innovus Implementation System, including designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs in the areas of physical synthesis.
Work on advanced parallel routing and Via Pillar features to reduce design timing.
Work on line assignment engine for advanced technology designs, improve quality of results including design timing, power, and turnaround time.
Work closely with product engineers and technical sales to provide engineering solutions and workarounds to drive customer success.
Work on advanced technology design rule support in detail routing search engine.
Work on timing and power-driven globalRoute to improve routing quality.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related engineering occupation.
Designing and developing software tools in C and Python
Utilizing algorithms or developing new ones, including tree/graph methods and dynamic programming
Implementing data structures, including array, list, tree, and graph for developing complex software
Electronic Design Automation (EDA) domain knowledge including power, performance, and timing analysis
Linux operating system and developing shell scripts
Hardware Description Language (HDL) to Graphic Design System (GDS) flow

The annual salary range for California is $187,741 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
