About the Role

In this role, you will support initiatives within Information Security Engineering, focusing on low to moderately complex projects. You'll help identify opportunities for process improvements, review and analyze tactical security assignments, and provide recommendations for resolving challenges related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. This position requires exercising independent judgment while developing a strong understanding of security functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

You will also collaborate with client personnel and work with an off-the-shelf application that leverages machine learning. A key responsibility will be analyzing large datasets to validate data accuracy after scanning.
Responsibilities

• Participate in initiatives within Information Security Engineering and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Review and analyze basic or tactical security assignments requiring research and evaluation of alternatives.
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations.
• Apply independent judgment while learning organizational policies and compliance requirements.
• Provide information and support to client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
• Work with machine learning applications and analyze large datasets to ensure data accuracy post-scanning.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent experience through one or more of the following:
  • Professional work or consulting experience
  • Training or education
  • Military experience
