TITLE: Cyber Security Principal - XSOAR
LOCATION: Remote
Length - End of Year + extensions and/or potential for full time hire
Rate: $70-85/hr W2 only - this role is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party submission. Must be able to work on our W2, now and in the future, without restriction. We are unable to sponsor or transfer visas such as H1B, OPT, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Help deliver and support security, threat, and vulnerability resolution.
- Report and communicate on security events and threats.
- Perform and document root cause analysis for security incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability analyses.
- Develop cyber security analytics and threat intelligence using multiple data sources.
- Identify and recommend process and system improvements to the security program.
- Drive capabilities and execution to optimize enterprise security.
- Investigate and document anomalous events and incidents.
- Create cyber security incidents and oversee incident response process.
- Examine cyber adversary techniques to develop defensive strategies.
- Conduct risk analysis and provide monitoring recommendations.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and suggest remediation strategies.
- Support security incidents throughout their lifecycle.
- Validate security requirements and recommend additional safeguards.
- Develop and oversee metrics reporting on security performance and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of related experience.
- High School level education required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field preferred.
- Experience with systems such as XSOAR and Splunk.
- Strong skills in Python, incident response, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Tanium, Azure, forensics, and networking. - Ability to develop XSOAR playbooks. - Providing technical support to incident response analysts. - Defining new SOAR requirements.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $70.00 to $85.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
