Title: Essbase Administrator / Oracle Cloud Systems Administrator
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
- Creating new user accounts, managing group memberships, assigning Identity Domain or servicespecific admin roles.
- Managing paid orders, upsizing/updating services, terminating subscriptions
- Viewing and monitoring utilization and status of all Oracle Cloud services across identity domains and data centres
- Activating new services and creating service instances (databases, analytics, integration)
- Manages Oracle Essbase on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Provision Essbase 21c using OCI Marketplace stack, including VCN, load balancer, and metadata DB.
- Integrate Essbase with OCI IAM / Identity Domains for authentication; manage Essbase users and roles within Essbase.
- Apply Essbase patches and upgrades using Oraclesupported Essbase update procedures; manage VM health and logs
- Monitors Essbase sessions, checks active calculation scripts, manages locks, and terminates sessions
- Responsible for configuring backup and recovery procedures for Essbase data on OCI.
- Essbase Web Interface, Cube Designer for Excel, REST APIs
