CDMigration Lead / Architect

Seeking an experienced CD(Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) Migration Lead / Architect to lead the end-to-end implementation and migration to Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) on the IDMC platform. The role is responsible for defining architecture, migration strategy, metadata management, data lineage, governance workflows, and enterprise-wide catalog adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Lead CDarchitecture, implementation, and migration initiatives.
Design target-state data governance and metadata catalog architecture.
Configure catalog resources, metadata scanners, lineage, and governance workflows.
Implement Dev, Test, and Production environments with appropriate security and access controls.
Deploy and manage MetaDex Advanced Scanners and metadata connectors.
Build business glossaries, data domains, governance policies, and stewardship workflows.
Establish enterprise technical and business data lineage.
Assess and migrate metadata assets from EDC, Axon, or third-party catalog platforms to CDGC.
Define validation and reconciliation processes to ensure migration accuracy.
Develop architecture documents, migration runbooks, and operational playbooks.
Provide technical leadership and mentor governance engineers and analysts.
Integrate CDwith IDMC services and external platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud ecosystems.

Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Management.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica CD EDC, and/or Axon Data Governance.
Strong knowledge of:
o Data Governance Frameworks
o Business Glossaries
o Data Stewardship
o Data Lineage
o Data Quality
o Metadata Management
Experience configuring metadata scanners and connectors across databases, cloud platforms, BI tools, and file systems.
Strong architecture, security, and role-based access control (RBAC) design experience.
Proven experience leading governance/catalog implementation or migration programs.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:
CDModernization Utility experience.
MetaDex Advanced Scanner implementation experience.
Integration experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, Snowflake, AWS Glue, Microsoft Purview, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and SOX.
Informatica certifications (CD EDC, Axon, IDMC).
Experience with Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) and Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
Exposure to Collibra, Alation, or Microsoft Purview migrations.
