We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. This permanent position involves working on diverse construction projects, where you will utilize your expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam, along with extensive experience in MEP. This role requires a PE license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Mechanical Designer, you'll be expected to:

1. Lead the design and execution of mechanical systems for various construction projects, ensuring adherence to client specifications and industry standards.
2. Develop and implement HVAC and plumbing systems designs, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
3. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam software for creating and modifying mechanical designs.
4. Collaborate with the MEP team to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and plumbing systems.
5. Review and validate designs, ensuring they meet all safety, quality, and performance standards.
6. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed designs.
7. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Sr. Mechanical Designer position will have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A valid PE license.
3. A minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical design within the construction industry.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
5. Extensive knowledge and experience in HVAC and plumbing system design.
6. Strong experience in MEP integration.
7. Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing construction projects.
8. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
10. Strong understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
