Job Details

KPosition Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Quality Technician / Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality operations and ensure products meet defined specifications and customer requirements. This role plays a key part in inspection, validation, and continuous improvement efforts within a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Approve in-process and finished products by verifying specifications through visual and dimensional inspection
Document inspection results, including nonconformance, rework, and scrap data, and maintain accurate quality records
Program and operate SmartScope equipment using Zone3 software
Perform core quality functions including PPAP, FMEA, process capability studies, and Gage R&R
Manage gage calibration activities using GageTrak software
Support project teams with PPAP submissions and customer requirements
Assist with internal, external, and 5S audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
Promote a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to company policies and regulatory standards
Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives and quality system enhancements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively
Experience with manufacturing processes, ideally within metal stamping environments
Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Gage R&R)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
