Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead and oversee technology operations and strategy in San Marcos, Texas. This role emphasizes leadership in IT and OT systems, with a focus on manufacturing environments and industrial cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic vision to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals and manufacturing operations.
Oversee the integration and management of SAP S/4HANA systems and shop-floor technologies.
Lead efforts in IT/OT cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with industry standards and frameworks.
Design and scale IT and OT architecture to support operational efficiency and innovation.
Manage IT infrastructure, helpdesk, cloud environments, and vendor relationships.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data analytics and informed decision-making.
Build and lead a high-performing technical team, ensuring effective collaboration with external vendors.
Drive project and change management initiatives to improve processes and systems.
Ensure robust risk management and compliance practices across IT and OT systems.
Engage frequently on-site with shop floor teams to address operational technology needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 12-15 years of IT leadership experience, including in manufacturing or industrial OT environments.
Certifications in relevant areas such as cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or industrial frameworks.
Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and industrial systems integration, with shop-floor experience preferred.
Proficiency in OT systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and related technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance.
Hands-on experience managing IT operations combined with strategic leadership.
Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and vendor management.
