Cloud Migration Architect

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Architect to lead and execute large-scale cloud migration initiatives across multiple cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS and Azure, deep knowledge of Cloud Service Provider (CSP) ecosystems, and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. This role requires excellent communication and documentation skills to ensure seamless collaboration and clear technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud migration strategies for enterprise workloads across AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain IaC templates using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Assess existing infrastructure and create migration roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with CSP best practices, security standards, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into migration workflows.
• Document architecture designs, migration plans, and operational procedures comprehensively.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams during migration projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and migration projects.
• Proven multi-cloud experience (AWS and Azure required; Google Cloud Platform is a plus).
• Strong understanding of CSP ecosystems, including certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Architect Expert.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC; familiarity with other IaC tools is a plus.
• Broader DevOps skills (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring) are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with migration tools and methodologies (e.g., AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
