Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, migration strategies, infrastructure automation, security, and DevOps practices.
• This role requires strong technical leadership and the ability to work closely with development, operations, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud architectures.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Develop cloud adoption strategies, architecture standards, and best practices.
• Architect and deploy solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and Route 53.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, governance, and disaster recovery strategies are implemented.
• Perform architecture reviews, capacity planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application performance issues.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in cloud architecture.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, ECS/EKS, and CloudWatch.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cloud governance.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
