Role Overview:

Optum is seeking a .NET Full Stack Engineer to support and enhance the analytics-driven Assurance Reimbursement Management (ARM) platform.

This role is heavily focused on L3 production support, minor enhancements, and automation within a highly regulated healthcare environment, ensuring system reliability, scalability, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 production support including rapid diagnosis and resolution of critical errors, exceptions, and outages
  Own defect fixes and reduce technical debt to improve platform stability
  Troubleshoot integration and data flow issues across eligibility, claims processing, bridge jobs, attachments, and third-party systems
  Coordinate with external vendors and partners to resolve third-party integration failures
  Monitor, tune, and optimize system performance and scalability for peak workloads
  Manage user access, SSO issues, permissions, and profile-related incidents
  Plan and execute application upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
  Support environment setup, configuration, and maintenance for production and non-production environments
  Develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, job queues, and scheduled jobs
  Assist with CI/CD pipeline maintenance and continuous improvement
  Implement minor enhancements and feature requests (typically <80 work hours)
  Design, implement, and maintain automated regression testing with 85% coverage
  Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities to ensure regulatory and internal compliance
  Contribute to operational and delivery metrics reporting (velocity, time to build, time to value)
  Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams; participate in Sev-1 / Sev-2 war rooms as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  6+ years of full-stack development experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
  Strong front-end experience with ReactJS, Redux, AngularJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  Backend and API development using REST and ASP.NET Web APIwith secure design principles
  Strong database experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022, including failover and performance tuning
  Cloud experience with AWS (AMS, EC2)for application hosting and scalability
  Automation and scripting using PowerShell and Bash
  Observability and logging using Windows Event Logs, Log4Net
  Monitoring experience with CloudWatch, ElasticSearch, and Splunk
  CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, and Git version control
  Familiarity with authentication and authorization systems (Sentinel, ARM proprietary systems)
  Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and performance tuning skills
  Excellent communication skills and experience working in a global delivery model

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in healthcare claims, reimbursement, or remittance domains
  Vulnerability management and KPI-driven delivery in regulated environments
  Automated UI testing using Playwright or Selenium
  Exposure to Azurecloud services in addition to AWS
  Experience coordinating with external vendors and operating Sev-1 / Sev-2 war rooms

Work Model & Coverage:

• Onshore support hours: 08:00 AM 05:00 PM EST
  Offshore support hours: 11:30 AM 08:30 PM IST
  On-call support for Sev-1 / Sev-2 incidents during non-business hours or weekends (as required)
