Software Development Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Software Development Engineer on a contract-to-hire basis in Pittsburgh, PA. This individual will play a key role in supporting the development and enhancement of software solutions while collaborating closely with a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data, the ability to develop scalable solutions, and experience working across backend systems and automated testing environments. The Software Development Engineer will also automate and enhance integration testing processes, and develop and maintain APIs and support system integrations across applications.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience
* Must have experience with JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
* Must have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
* Must have a familiarity with AWS environments and cloud-based development
* Must have experience developing and integrating APIs
* Must have a strong understanding of backend development concepts and data-driven solutions
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative engineering team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
