DAS Installation Technician - Coax / Structured Cabling

Healthcare | Long Island, NY | 6-Month Contract

TEKsystems is looking for an experienced DAS Installation Technician for a 6-month contract at Bayshore Hospital in Long Island, NY. You'll be part of a structured cabling team installing a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) in an active healthcare environment.
This is a Monday through Friday role with a 6am start time. If you're experienced with coax installation and termination, hold your OSHA 30 and SST cards, and are comfortable working in a hospital setting, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing support structures for cable pathways throughout the facility
• Running, installing, and securing -inch coax cable through ceilings, risers, conduits, and structured pathways
• Terminating coax cable for DAS systems - cutting, stripping jacket, exposing conductor, cleaning, installing connectors, and testing
• Following all hospital safety protocols and maintaining a professional presence in an active healthcare environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience installing support structures for cabling
• Hands-on experience running and securing -inch coax cable through ceilings, risers, and conduit
• Skilled in coax termination for DAS systems - this is a core requirement
• OSHA 30 certification - required
• SST card - required
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6am start

Nice to Have

• Scissors lift certification or experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
