Job Description:
REL Quality Control Specialist I

Location: Pensacola, FL or Winchester, VA (Hybrid)

Role Overview

This position is responsible for providing quality control and support for business unit team members and leadership. The specialist will monitor, document, and evaluate interactions across multiple media to determine service quality and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal operating procedures. This role applies various quality control support skills to support business initiatives and performs moderately diverse job duties in a specialized area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, document, and evaluate interactions to ensure service consistency and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide and document feedback to team members and leadership through standardized tools.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recognition for positive performance.
  • Identify and report situations or patterns of activity indicating potential fraud or abuse.
  • Identify and report issues related to training, procedures, and automated systems.
  • Assess the impact of process and procedural changes on service quality.
  • Maintain and communicate knowledge of changes and new trends in quality systems and technology.
  • Participate in quality learning experiments and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collect and analyze data from monitored results to deliver insights and make recommendations.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience, including working in cross-functional teams and projects.

Skills:
  • Effective knowledge of organizational functions, philosophy, operations, and objectives.
  • Effective knowledge of relevant systems, procedures, policies, and practices.
  • Effective knowledge of federal regulations.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced active listening skills to respond to inquiries and requests.
  • Effective research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skill in providing constructive criticism and feedback to drive performance.


Preferred Qualifications
  • An associate's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in supervising and leading employees.
  • Experience in the training and development of staff.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid position with the expectation to report onsite a minimum of three days per week. The standard shift is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime may be available based on business needs.
