Job Description

Our client is seeking a Linux System Administrator to provide enterprise Linux administration and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

·       Install, configure and maintain Linux servers.

·       Manage security.

·       Perform patching and upgrades.

·       Support backup & recovery.

·       Provide knowledge transfer.

Mandatory Qualifications

·       Minimum 5 years aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.

·       Minimum 3 years in a lead capacity.

·       Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering.

·       Minimum 5 years of Linux System Administration covering Design, Installation,

Optimization, Configuration, Security design/configuration/maintenance, Backup &

Recovery, Patches & Upgrades, Performance Tuning, and Troubleshooting.

·       Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Linux system administration in any

combination of the following areas:

•        Design

•        Installation

•        Optimization

•        Configuration

•        Security design, configuration and maintenance

•        Ongoing operations and maintenance including, but not limited to:

§  Backup and recovery

§  Patches and upgrades

§  Performance tuning

§  Troubleshooting
