Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies (Expertise in Jahia and GRAILS for this role)

Introduction:

The Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based web applications using a variety of technologies. They will work closely with the development team to create high-quality, scalable solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot (REST APIs, Controllers, Services)
• Implement JSP/MVC architecture for web applications
• Collaborate with the team to ensure code quality and best practices
• Utilize GIT for version control and collaboration
• Implement JavaScript (ES6 basics), HTML5, and CSS3 for front-end development
• Work with JAHIA (content management system) and Java GRAILS (Groovy) for specific project requirements
• Utilize Web Analytics tools and frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment processes
• Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace/Splunk
• Stay updated on modern JS frameworks like React

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in Java development
• Expertise in Spring Boot (REST APIs, Controllers, Services)
• Experience with JSP/MVC architecture, GIT, JavaScript (ES6 basics), HTML5, CSS3
• Proficiency in JAHIA (content management system) and Java GRAILS (Groovy)

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Web Analytics
• Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Dynatrace/Splunk
• Experience with modern JS frameworks like React
