Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, database migration, DevOps automation, and application security.

The candidate will be responsible for migrating enterprise applications and databases from on-premises infrastructure to public cloud platforms, designing scalable and reliable cloud environments, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensuring system availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage database and application migration from on-premises to public cloud.

  • Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, database, and application issues.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Blue-Green deployments.

  • Monitor critical applications and ensure high availability and SLA compliance.

  • Implement security controls, vulnerability assessments, and remediation.

  • Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and IT Operations teams.

Required Technical Skills

  • Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.

  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL.

  • Operating Systems: Linux and Windows Server.

  • Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.

  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.

  • Monitoring & Logging: Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios.

  • Configuration Management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef.

  • Security: OWASP Top 10, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, SonarQube, Fortify, Burp Suite, Nessus.

  • Version Control: Git, SVN.

  • Secret Management: HashiCorp Vault.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Cybersecurity.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration and enterprise database environments.

  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.

  • Azure/AWS certifications are preferred.
