DATA LAKE EXPERIENCE

Summary

We are looking for a senior SAP ABAP SME with strong experience across ECC and S/4HANA to review and validate SAP technical specifications used for extracting data into a data lake.

Key Focus Areas
Review and validate ABAP technical specifications (no ETL development)
Reverse engineer custom Z-tables and ABAP logic across FI, MM, SD, HR, etc.
Document data extraction logic, field mappings, business rules, and source-to-target lineage
Collaborate with ABAP developers, functional teams, and data engineers.

Required Skills
Strong Core & OO ABAP ALV, BAPI, RFC, BADIs, User Exits
S/4HANA ABAP CDS Views, AMDP, OData, RAP
Z-table extraction, joins, delta logic, performance tuning
Strong technical documentation and client communication skills

Experience
8 10 years of SAP ABAP with strong S/4HANA exposure
ECC S/4HANA or data modernization experience preferred
