Job PurposeResponsible for the engineering, design and technical oversight during construction of projects relating to the gas distribution network.
Key AccountabilitiesPosition Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Prioritize work and manage multiple projects within budget and schedule milestones
- Establish and maintain relationships internally in a team environment as well as externally with all parties including municipal stakeholders.
- Adopt corporate safety culture and incorporate safety process and procedures into project portfolio
- Identify and acquire the necessary permits, licenses, and land rights associated with the project
- Compile job work packages and coordinate engineering design and project planning services to ensure that construction projects are effectively specified and estimated prior to handover to performing organizations.
- Provide project status updates, attend scope review and coordination meetings when required.
- Actively engage on sight in project management of the gas design project during construction phase.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline, science, or project management
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of engineering or project management experience
- Understanding of utility construction industry standards, regulations and contract terms
- Valid driver's license required

Downstate NY Salary: $111,000 - $130,000 a yearPlease be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ("DOT") covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company's testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.
