  • Develop and enhance Collibra workflows, forms, and approval processes to support governance use cases (e.g., data access requests, issue management, policy approvals).
  • Assist in launching and maturing a Data Governance Catalog, including metadata onboarding, business glossary development, and stewardship alignment.
  • Partner with Data Stewards and Data Owners to document data definitions, ownership, classifications, policies, and quality rules.
  • Create and maintain governance documentation, standards, training materials, and operating procedures.
  • Support metadata ingestion and lineage integration efforts with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, ETL tools).
  • Assist Data Quality leads in aligning governance artifacts with data quality rules, scorecards, and issue management processes.
  • Facilitate governance working sessions, steward onboarding, and user enablement workshops.
  • Track governance KPIs and adoption metrics and provide reporting to leadership.
  • Assist in managing governance backlog items and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Metadata Management.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or launching a Data Governance Catalog using Collibra at a prior organization.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring Collibra in a production environment, including custom asset models, lineage integrations, workflow automation, and form-based approvals.
  • Support metadata and governance practices that enable AI readiness, including data classification, lineage completeness, and integration of quality signals required for AI use cases.
  • Understanding of Data Governance frameworks, operating models, and stewardship concepts.
  • Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, data classification, and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Stewards, Data Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support operational governance activities.
  • ship is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide Collibra implementations or governance program expansions.
  • Experience integrating Collibra with data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or enterprise ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with Collibra Data Quality (CDQ) and alignment between governance and data quality programs.
  • Experience building governance workflows for access management, issue management, policy management, and stewardship assignments.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance drivers (e.g., data privacy, CUI, PII, GDPR).
  • Experience with workflow automation or scripting (e.g., SQL, Python, Groovy, REST APIs) to support metadata validation, governance automation, or reporting. Experience supporting unstructured data governance initiatives.
  • Prior experience in government, federal, or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Logical and Physical Data Modeling (LDM/PDM) concepts and ability to interpret data models to support governance, metadata management, and data quality rule definition.
  • Exposure to semantic modeling concepts including taxonomies, ontologies, and canonical data models.
  • Foundational knowledge of Knowledge Graphs, graph-based relationships, or RDF/OWL concepts, and how they support metadata management, lineage, and AI use cases.
