About the Role

We're looking for a Help Desk Team Lead to join a well-established organization's IT team in Franklin. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance supervising the help desk team with staying technical and solving real problems. If you're ready to step up, take ownership, and be a go-to person for both your team and leadership, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing

• Help supervise help desk agents, manage workflows, and keep the day-to-day running smoothly
• Serve as the escalation point for major IT issues and see them through to resolution
• Troubleshoot laptops, servers, and networking issues
• Monitor ticket queues, enforce SLAs, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
• Partner with other departments on IT projects and problem-solving
• Step in and support management when needed-you'll need to communicate clearly and confidently
• Handle asset tracking, vendor relationships, and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Solid technical skills: laptop/server troubleshooting, networking issues, hardware/software support
• Strong customer service and communication skills-both written and verbal
• Ability to speak directly with management and represent the team well
• Someone who can balance being hands-on with stepping back to lead
• Intermediate-level experience in IT support or help desk environments

Interview Process

Two-step process: phone interview followed by a Teams interview with the hiring manager and IT leadership.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
