As a Senior Data Engineer, you won’t just move data—you’ll architect the flow of information for our entire enterprise. You will lead the design of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize high-performance database schemas, and empower our leadership with governed, high-quality data via Power BI.

Core Responsibilities

Pipeline Architecture: Design and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Boomi and other iPaaS tools to integrate on-premise (SQL Server, Oracle) and cloud-based API systems.

Database Leadership: Lead decisions on database architecture, including logical/physical schema design, indexing strategies, and partitioning to ensure peak performance.

BI Enablement: Architect efficient data models and maintain datasets that serve as the backbone for Power BI reporting and enterprise analytics.

Optimization & Governance: Perform deep query tuning and implement strict data governance, lineage, and security policies to ensure a “single source of truth.”

Mentorship: Act as a technical pillar for the team, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the long-term data platform roadmap.
What You Bring to the Table

Experience: 6+ years in Data Engineering or Database Development.

Integration Expertise: Proven mastery of Boomi (or equivalent iPaaS) for complex enterprise integrations.

Database Depth: Expert-level command of SQL Server and Oracle. You should be comfortable navigating both T-SQL and PL/SQL environments.

Reporting Power: Strong experience designing data models specifically optimized for Power BI.

Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) and familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
