  • 10+ years of embedded software and control systems development.
  • Proficiency in C or C++ programming and embedded microcontroller-based platforms.
  • Solid foundation in control theory and algorithm design, including PID control.
  • Background implementing, testing, and validating control algorithms for embedded applications.
  • Experience developing safety-critical products and applying functional safety processes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Thorough understanding of software verification and validation methodologies.
  • Effective analytical, debugging, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

What Sets You Apart:
  • Functional safety standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 13849, UL 1998, or work with ASIL/SIL-rated products.
  • Background in battery management systems (BMS), motor controls, power electronics, energy or fuel cell systems, robotics, or industrial automation.
  • MATLAB/Simulink, model-based development, or real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Embedded communication protocols including CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, or UART.
  • Familiarity with FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), ASPICE, MISRA C/C++, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or software quality tools.
