Job Title: Senior Snowflake Architect – Platform & Administration

Required Skills / Experience:
- 8–10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Platform roles.
- 4–5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience in architecture and administration.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Experience designing scalable Snowflake architectures for data warehouse, data lake, and data sharing use cases.
- Strong experience with dimensional modeling and analytical data models.
- Experience designing and operating batch and near real-time ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake Data Sharing and data integration.
- Experience with Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers, semantic views, and analytics-ready datasets.
- Knowledge of advanced Snowflake capabilities including Cortex AI and Data Agents.
- Experience with Snowflake security and governance features including RBAC, masking policies, row access policies, encryption, and Snowflake Horizon.
- Hands-on Snowflake platform administration across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Experience managing warehouses, databases, schemas, users, roles, and resource monitors.
- Strong experience monitoring and optimizing Snowflake performance, availability, and cost.
- Experience with data sharing, replication, disaster recovery/failover, and backup strategies.
- Advanced SQL skills; Python experience preferred.
- Scripting and automation experience using Bash, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience providing technical guidance to distributed/offshore Snowflake administration teams.
- Experience with predictive modeling and anomaly detection using Snowflake Cortex AI is preferred.
- Snowflake SnowPro Core certification preferred.
