The Opportunity
The Workfront Designer role is responsible for the operational health, adoption, and ongoing success of our enterprise Workfront instance supporting 10,000+ users. This role sits at the intersection of platform governance, user enablement, reporting and analytics, and day to day system administration, ensuring the platform continues to scale with business needs.
We are looking for a seasoned practitioner with deep Workfront expertise, strong consultative skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast paced enterprise environment. This role will lead user implementation and enablement efforts, drive continuous platform optimization, maintain system integrity and data quality, and provide advanced support for escalated issues.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable shaping long term strategy and executing tactical deliverables, balancing proactive improvements with responsive support while fostering strong engagement and trust across the Workfront ecosystem.
What You'll Do
User Implementation, Engagement, & Adoption
- Lead team onboarding through Workfront Planning, including intake coordination, prioritization, backlog grooming, and consultation aligned to business needs
- Translate business requirements into scalable, governed Workfront configurations in partnership with cross functional stakeholders
- Develop, publish, and maintain enablement and onboarding assets (guides, job aids, demos, videos, FAQs, troubleshooting, and escalation paths), ensuring alignment with platform releases and product updates
- Facilitate weekly office hours, training sessions, and demonstrations to drive user adoption, reinforce best practices, address questions, and surface improvement opportunities
- Drive awareness and engagement through community Slack communications, announcements, and updates to internal websites, knowledge hubs, and AEM Sites (including governance and content lifecycle management)
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with ongoing platform evolution
- Own AI-related product release enablement, including planning structured agendas, synthesizing release information into clear user-focused narratives, and translating new capabilities into practical, role-based use cases
- Create and maintain ongoing AI and platform training resources and reference materials to support enterprise self-service learning and adoption
User Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 2 Workfront support by diagnosing and resolving complex configuration, access, workflow, and reporting issues through root cause analysis, recommending solutions, and coordinating escalations with Adobe Support as needed
- Monitor Adobe release notes and roadmap changes to anticipate user impact, inform support readiness, and deliver product demos that highlight opportunities for expanded value
- Develop and refine Tier 0 self service guidance to reduce support volume, improve time to resolution, and increase user independence
Governance, System Health & Technical Debt Reduction
- Lead platform cleanup and governance initiatives by auditing and retiring obsolete users, projects, reports, templates, fields, and legacy configurations (including GenStudio), reducing technical debt and maintaining system stability and performance
- Enforce and evolve platform governance standards across access controls, naming conventions, custom forms, layouts, and object lifecycle management
- Design, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards that translate complex operational, adoption, and performance data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and executive decision making
- Partner with stakeholders to align AI feature adoption with business objectives and governance standards, while tracking and reporting on AI usage, engagement, and value to identify gaps, opportunities, and recommendations for responsible adoption
Platform Support
- Partner with business users to identify and execute project and data clean up initiatives, archiving or correcting inactive, outdated, or misconfigured projects
- Lead custom field and configuration clean up efforts, identifying and retiring obsolete objects, redundant fields, unused layouts, and legacy configurations that contribute to technical debt
- Develop role based reports and dashboards tailored to user personas
- Conduct periodic user audits to ensure correct access levels, layout templates, team assignments, licensing, and retirement of unused objects
- Audit reporting assets to remove redundancies, resolve data inconsistencies, and close identified visibility gaps
What You Need to Succeed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Adobe Workfront administration experience in a large enterprise environment, supporting complex workflows, governed configurations, and a high volume of users across many teams and business units
- Demonstrated experience operating within a large Workfront instance that includes multiple Group Administrators, requiring strong governance, coordination, and consistency across configurations, standards, and enablement approaches
- Advanced Workfront reporting and dashboard expertise, including custom reports, calculated fields, text mode, and executive-level dashboards that translate operational, adoption, and performance data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to design and facilitate live training sessions, office hours, and product demonstrations, translating complex platform and AI capabilities into practical, role-based use cases that drive adoption and value
- Strong consultation and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience gathering business requirements, acting on user feedback, and recommending scalable, governed solutions aligned to enterprise needs
- Experience providing Tier 2 platform support, including root cause analysis of complex configuration, access, workflow, and reporting issues, and coordinating effectively with Adobe Support for escalations
- Experience developing and maintaining Tier 0 self-service enablement, such as guides, FAQs, job aids, demos, and troubleshooting resources that reduce support volume and improve time to resolution
- Proven capability to track, analyze, and report on AI feature adoption, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities while promoting responsible, governed use aligned to business objectives
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end users, peer administrators, product teams, and senior leadership
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in ambiguity, balancing day-to-day platform support with long-term optimization and enablement initiatives
- Adobe Workfront Core Developer Professional Certification (required or strongly preferred), demonstrating advanced platform knowledge and technical credibility
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in technology, operations, project management, or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Workfront Planning, including schema design, intake model configuration, automations, and integrations with core Workfront objects
- Experience building and maintaining Canvas dashboards with a focus on operational, adoption, and performance insights
- Experience supporting change management initiatives in a large enterprise environment, including rollout planning, stakeholder communication, enablement, and adoption measurement.
- Hands on experience maintaining AEM Sites, with familiarity using Adobe design tools such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator to support content creation and platform
