Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and enterprise application support. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
Design and optimize Oracle database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and materialized views.
Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using explain plans, indexing, query optimization, and profiling tools.
Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Analyze and resolve database performance, production, and data-related issues.
Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and develop scalable database solutions.
Perform data migration, conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities.
Develop and maintain ETL processes and support integration with enterprise applications.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development and database standards.
Create technical documentation, design documents, and deployment procedures.
Provide production support and troubleshoot critical database issues.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

Required Skills

10+ years of experience in Oracle database development.
Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Extensive experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Cursors, Collections, and Dynamic SQL.
Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and data modeling.
Experience with SQL/PLSQL performance tuning and optimization.
Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or higher.
Strong understanding of indexes, partitions, constraints, views, materialized views, and database objects.
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Experience with ETL/data migration and large-volume data processing.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Jira, or similar development/CI tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, partitioning, and performance monitoring.
Knowledge of AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform database environments.
Experience with Informatica, Talend, or other ETL tools.
Exposure to REST APIs, XML/JSON, and application integration.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
