Job Description:

Job Title: Junior Full Stack Developer

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: East Coast

Work Schedule: Remote

Pay Rate: $35-40 W2 and $45 C2C Based on experience.

Description

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer, who will build and maintain high-performance, customer-facing web applications, working with technologies like React, Java-based microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/OCI).

Responsibilities include developing responsive e-commerce interfaces, implementing secure APIs (OAuth2, JWT), and optimizing system scalability to support omni-channel retail.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React (front-end) and Java/Spring Boot (back-end).
E-commerce Optimization: Focus on speed, reliability, and scalability for Company's digital platforms, including mobile and in-store technologies.
API & Backend Development: Create and manage APIs,, including experience with Kafka, message formats (JSON, XML), and microservices architecture.
Collaboration & Agile: Work in a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM environment, collaborating with SRE, DevOps, and Product teams to deploy code.
System Security: Implement security best practices, including OAuth2 and JWT.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and React.
Cloud & Tools: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or OCI) and CI/CD pipelines.
Education: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience: Proven experience in building scalable web applications, preferably in e-commerce.
