Job Description:

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience to design and drive end-to-end Supply Chain data products using Databricks, SAP, AI/ML, and Agentic AI technologies. This role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and ownership of data products across Purchasing, Inventory, Production Planning, and Logistics

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Data Engineering and Business leaders to define product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Own end-to-end design and delivery of scalable ELT pipelines and data models in Databricks using Delta Lake and dbt.
  • Lead SAP data integration across MM, IM, PP, and Logistics, ensuring data consistency and business alignment.
  • Define and standardize Supply Chain KPIs and analytics frameworks.
  • Deliver advanced insights to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, supplier performance, and logistics efficiency.
  • Design and enable ML and Agentic AI solutions, including automated agents for procurement classification, lead-time prediction, exception handling, and workflow orchestration.
  • Guide teams on MLflow, Feature Store usage, and production monitoring.
  • Ensure strong data governance, quality, security, and controlled releases across environments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical escalation point.

Candidate Desired Profile:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Supply Chain-related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Analytics roles.
  • Deep expertise in Databricks, SQL, Python, dbt, Delta Lake.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP (MM, IM, PP, Logistics) and Supply Chain processes.
  • Experience leading or owning data products end-to-end.
  • Strong stakeholder and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred
  • Experience with MLflow, Feature Stores, and production ML pipelines.
  • Hands-on exposure to Agentic AI, GenAI, RAG, or automation frameworks.
  • Experience in forecasting, optimization, or advanced analytics.
  • Strong Agile / Scrum leadership experience.

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $122,000 - $152,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
