Document Intelligence developer

Position: AI Developer – Document Intelligence & Validation
Location: Charlotte , NC (Hybrid)

Document AI / IDP platforms (OCR, PDF parsing) based extraction, Confidence scoring, rule-based validation, semantic or fuzzy comparison, API integration
 
The AI Developer will design, build, and optimize document ingestion, extraction, validation, and comparison capabilities to modernize Middle Office authorization workflows.
This role focuses on hands‑on delivery of AI models, confidence scoring, exception handling, and system integrations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build document ingestion and classification pipelines for Authorization Certificates and non‑standard documents
2. Implement document scraping / template‑based extraction for structured forms
3. Develop AI/LLM‑based extraction for unstructured and semi‑structured documents
4. Generate field‑level and record‑level confidence scores
5. Implement AI comparison logic:
                a. Extracted data vs source document
                b. Post‑load verification between Contact Master and source docs
 
Required Skills & Experience:
1. 3–6+ years in AI/ML or Intelligent Automation
2. Hands‑on experience with: Document AI / IDP platforms (OCR, PDF parsing) based extraction, Confidence scoring, rule-based validation, semantic or fuzzy comparison, API integration
 
Strong skills in:
1. Python (Langchain, Pydantic, Langgraph)
2. REST APIs / microservices
3. JSON/XML schema mapping & Kafka
4. Experience with confidence scoring and validation logic
5. Familiarity with workflow platforms
6. Understanding of PII handling, model explain ability, and audit controls
 
Nice to Have:
1. Financial services or regulated industry experience
2. BOT integration for downstream systems
3. Experience with Alfresco, ServiceView
