Job Description

As an Engineering Manager I, you will coordinate and drive team efforts to deliver software solutions.

The Offers team is responsible for building and maintaining real-time event based systems that support the Company's desire to quickly and easily create new bonus mechanics, without input from technical teams.

You will be responsible for building and leading a team of software developers with varying experience and skillsets, focusing on people, processes, delivery and governance. You will measure quality and delivery, contribute and drive improvements, maintaining a solid technical understanding of systems and remain close to the solutions being developed. You will be leading SDLC transformation in the modern AI era to the bleeding edge implementing agentic workflows

The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology's greatest challenges and continue to break new ground in software innovation.

The annual salary for this role will be between $130,000-$160,000.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.

Qualifications
  • Extensive commercial development experience.
  • Proven track record in leading teams to deliver high quality solutions.
  • Developing low latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
  • Experience with Agentic transformation to the SDLC
  • Driving AI efficiency initiatives
  • Experience of event-based systems.
  • Server side development such as Services, Systems, Messaging, Middleware.
  • Frontend development experience, such as React and Typescript.
  • Good database application programming ability.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple streams of activity, shifting focus regularly.
