Job Overview

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced Android Lead Developer to join its Consumer & Community Banking technology team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Android development experience, excellent proficiency in Java and Kotlin, and experience building large-scale enterprise Android applications.

The candidate should be capable of leading technical development efforts while remaining actively involved in coding and delivery. We are looking for a technically strong, independent contributor who can take ownership of development deliverables with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on Android application development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in both Java and Kotlin.
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development.
  • Proven experience building and supporting large-scale enterprise Android applications.
  • Strong technical leadership skills with a hands-on development approach.
  • Ability to work independently and own technical deliverables.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and development automation capabilities.
