OVERVIEW:
Join our dynamic team responsible for delivering techno-functional support for Source-to-Pay (P2P) application Coupa.
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform business analysis activities that support the effective operation, enhancement, and optimization of Coupa and related procurement processes. This includes gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to support Source-to-Pay processes, including requisition management, catalog and category management, supplier onboarding, and purchasing processes.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and governance of the Coupa platform while contributing to strategic initiatives, system enhancements, integrations, and process improvement efforts. Success in this role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to drive solutions that improve operational efficiency and deliver business value.
ROLE:
• Day to Day responsibilities include:
• Provide end-to-end production support, including incident management, ticket logging, status communication, and escalation where required.
• Design, configure, and maintain Coupa functionalities such as approval workflows, punchout catalogs, content groups, custom fields, approval groups, lookups, requisition forms, process automator, user administration, roles, reports, SIM forms, homepage, custom object, Contract Lifecycle, Sourcing Module (RFP, RFQ & Form Design), Integration, OAuth setup.
• Partner with key business users to provide system overviews, introduce new functionality, identify automation opportunities, and deliver end-user training as needed.
• Perform audit activities across Coupa controls, integration monitoring, sandbox refresh processes, and Coupa Compass portal usage.
• Influence business stakeholders by recommending improved ways of working and presenting use cases that enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage punchout lifecycle activities, including vendor coordination for cXML development, setup validation, and UAT test case creation and execution.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Coupa Analytics to support data-driven decision-making by business stakeholders.
• Monitor, log, and manage support tickets with Coupa, ensuring timely resolution and consistent communication with business users.
• Actively participate in the Coupa community, staying current on product updates, roadmap enhancements, and best practices, and engaging with Coupa product teams where applicable.
• Review Coupa release notes and present key updates and enhancements to business stakeholders, highlighting potential impacts and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support Coupa upgrade cycles (three times per year), including regression testing, integration testing, and validation of impacted processes and configurations.
ALL ABOUT YOU:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
• Coupa Platform Certified (Mandatory).
• Coupa Technical Architecture Certification preferred.
• Experience with Coupa Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLMA), and Analytics modules preferred.
• Familiarity with WalkMe or similar digital adoption platforms is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes and systems.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting the Coupa platform.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Coupa Supplier Information Management (SIM).
• 3+ years of experience supporting Coupa Sourcing and Contract Lifecycle Management modules.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting various Coupa modules, including Procurement, SIM, Sourcing, and Contracting.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting integrations between Coupa and ERP, middleware, and third-party applications using APIs, cXML, and/or flat-file interfaces.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application and operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and support testing activities, including unit, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing.
• Demonstrated expertise serving as a Coupa Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance on platform capabilities, solution design, system optimization, and adoption of new features and functionality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and process improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Working knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation tools, and process optimization techniques, with the ability to identify and recommend automation opportunities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
