Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect IV for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC and Newark, DE. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is a member of a small team aimed at designing automated controls for prevention and detection of cases where applications are not aligned to company policies and standards. The position will involve rapid prototyping of automated validation approaches and later transitioning those prototypes into live production capabilities as a new application.
Responsibilities: - Design and implement policy compliance procedures to validate application alignment with engineering, resiliency, observability, and operational policies and standards
- Plan and initiate positive engagements with many partner teams to uncover and document requirements, data sources, and issues
- Guide the development of validation tools
Requirements: - 12+ years of relevant experience
- Must be well spoken with strong communication skills
- Experience with CI/CD processes and enterprise tooling (e.g., GitHub CoPilot, Jenkins, SonarCube, jFrog, Ansible, Terraform, OpenShift)
- Experience building and deploying small to complex Java applications to VM and container platforms
- Experience with core observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Tivoli, ServiceNow)
- Experience with automation and prototyping tools (e.g., Python, shell, Alteryx, Excel, SQL, JavaScript)
Desired skills: - Java application development experience
- Experience working in Production Support, Performance Testing, Functional Test Automation, or Database Management
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24
