Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot.
  • Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services.
  • Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • Develop integrations with databases, third-party systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Implement application security using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code following software engineering best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and technical design discussions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, product managers, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the complete SDLC.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices.
  • Hands-on experience developing REST APIs.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
  • NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
  • AWS serverless architecture and Lambda.
  • Experience with application monitoring using CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Exposure to AI/Generative AI or AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience working on large-scale enterprise or cloud modernization projects.
