Job Summary:The Applications Engineer Intern will act as the technical expert to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales involving the design, application and performance of Toshiba Industrial products.
Responsibilities- Gain engineering experience by providing detailed technology support to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales.
- Provides technical support and product troubleshooting to customers.
- Build 120V demos for customers and Sales and conduct competitor research
- Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success.
- Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
- Ability to work with student around college class schedule within standard business hours.
- Training provided in Houston, TX. visitors in a welcoming and professional manner
- Verifying visitor IDs for security checks
- Answer and address incoming phone calls
- Reception area maintenance
- Welcome display updates for visitors
- Maintain executive conference. Restock supplies as needed

Requirements:EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:Current enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Technology program at an accredited college or university.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- Ability to work 40hrs per week at our office located in Northwest Houston, TX.
- Must be a team player and able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Python and/or Java
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio)
