Title: AWS GovCloud Architect (GovCloud & FedRAMP)
Location- Princeton, NJ (Hybrid)
Experience: 8–12+ years (5+ years AWS, 2+ years GovCloud/FedRAMP)
Key Responsibilities
Design and deploy secure, scalable AWS solutions across GovCloud and Commercial environments.
Manage AWS networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53, hybrid DNS.
Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/CloudFormation and automate CI/CD pipelines.
Implement FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 controls, IAM, encryption, and support ATO processes.
Work with EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, and microservices architectures.
Drive monitoring, reliability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
Required Skills:
Strong AWS expertise: VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53 Resolver, PrivateLink.
Advanced Terraform for multi-account AWS environments.
Hands-on experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and ATO compliance.
CI/CD, automation, scripting (Python, Shell).
Containers (EKS/ECS), Serverless (Lambda), Security (KMS, GuardDuty, Config).
Preferred Certifications
AWS Solutions Architect – Professional
AWS Security Specialty
CISSP or CCSP
Tools: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS), Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Security Hub, GuardDuty.
