Avis Budget Group is seeking a Program Manager Consultant to lead a portfolio of initiatives focused on reporting, analytics, and business-driven metrics. This role will oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent projects while managing a team of 4 Project Managers. The Program Manager will act as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, clear communication, and strong governance across all reporting and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of reporting, analytics, and metrics-driven projects across the organization
- Directly manage and mentor a team of 4 Project Managers, ensuring alignment to delivery timelines and priorities
- Oversee project delivery, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Partner with business stakeholders to intake, prioritize, and translate reporting and analytics requirements into actionable project plans
- Drive governance, status reporting, and executive-level communications across all initiatives
- Balance hands-on program delivery with management reporting, including KPIs, progress tracking, and performance metrics
- Ensure consistency and best practices across project management processes and tools
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including data, engineering, and business units
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Program/Project Management experience, with at least 2–3 years managing multiple Project Managers
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in reporting, analytics, or data-driven environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to interface with senior leadership
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau or other reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker)
- Background in data, analytics, or business intelligence programs
- Experience balancing delivery execution with executive-level reporting and governance
