Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role will drive product strategy, backlog prioritization, and delivery for enterprise applications, data, integrations, reporting, modernization initiatives, and emerging AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and product ownership skills with a solid understanding of software development, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, data management, and operational processes. They will help shape technology solutions that are scalable, secure, data-driven, and aligned to organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

•             Own and prioritize the product backlog, roadmap, and delivery plans for technology and business initiatives.

•             Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.

•             Collaborate with architects, engineers, QA teams, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.

•             Drive application modernization, system integration, reporting, workflow automation, and process improvement initiatives.

•             Support enterprise data strategy, including data harmonization, data quality, business definitions, governance, and cross-platform consistency.

•             Partner with business and technical teams to improve AI readiness by helping establish trusted, well-structured, and governed data foundations that support analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

•             Evaluate opportunities for AI and automation and help define high-value use cases that improve operational efficiency and stakeholder experiences.

•             Balance business priorities with technical debt, security requirements, platform stability, and long-term maintainability.

•             Coordinate testing, release planning, stakeholder communications, and adoption activities.

•             Identify risks, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and drive alignment across stakeholder groups.

•             Champion Agile delivery practices, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

•             7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role.

•             Experience working directly with software engineering, architecture, data, QA, cloud, and operations teams.

•             Strong background in requirements management, backlog prioritization, stakeholder facilitation, and Agile delivery.

•             Experience supporting enterprise data, reporting, analytics, integration, or digital transformation initiatives.

•             Knowledge of cloud-based environments, modern software delivery practices, and emerging AI technologies.

•             Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

•             Ability to challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

•             Experience in hospital, professional certification, education, nonprofit, or highly regulated environments.

•             Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, enterprise reporting, data governance, or modernization programs.

•             Familiarity with AI-enabled products, automation platforms, and data readiness initiatives.

•             CSPO, PSPO, SAFe, PMP, CSM, ITIL, Azure, or related certifications.
