We are partnered with an aviation logistics company building high-volume, mission-critical applications that power real-time ground operations. Their platform leverages software, data, and automation to optimize complex workflows across the aviation ecosystem, supporting efficiency and scalability at a global level. The engineering team operates in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment where developers are empowered to solve meaningful, real-world problems.

This role focuses on developing and scaling a core application that handles high-throughput operational data and automation workflows. While the current stack includes Go, AWS, and React, the team is tech agnostic and values strong engineering fundamentals over specific language experience-engineers are expected to quickly ramp up in Go and contribute across the stack.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications supporting aviation ground operations (50%)
Develop backend services and APIs in Go (or ramp up quickly from another backend language) (20%)
Contribute to frontend development using React for operational dashboards and tools (10%)
Architect and optimize systems within AWS cloud environments (10%)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, data-driven automation solutions (10%)

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong backend engineering experience (Go, Java, Python, C#, or similar)
Experience building and scaling high-volume, distributed systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
Willingness and ability to learn and work with Go
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
