Work Model: Hybrid (Monday - Thursday onsite) and Friday - Remote.

Job Type: 12-month contract (Possible conversion to permanent)

About the job:

We are seeking an expert Software Developer to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will leverage your extensive background in the .NET ecosystem to build and maintain complex software solutions. You will work within an Agile environment to debug complex issues, perform code reviews, and drive technical excellence.

Minimum qualifications:

6+ years of hands-on experience in a complex software development role.

Proficiency in C#/.NET (including .NET Core) and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Recent experience working in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) teams using Jira and Confluence.

Familiarity with event-driven programming (RabbitMQ or similar).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, GitHub, Bitbucket).

Basic scripting and automation skills using PowerShell.

Ability to perform code reviews, debug, and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

Experience with financial industry-specific technologies, such as FIX messaging, market data APIs, and trade order management systems (OMS).

Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or PCF).

Experience with Control-M for job scheduling and exposure to Informatica or other ETL tools.

Familiarity with SonarQube or Veracode for code quality and security.

Knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and log analysis.

Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment.
