Hiring: Software Engineer Performance & Load Testing
Location: New York City (NYC)
Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Software Engineers specializing in Performance and Load Testing to build traffic-replay systems, workload-generation tools, and scalable performance-testing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop traffic-replay and workload-generation tools for large-scale performance testing.

Build systems to replay HTTP/API requests, WebSocket traffic, and asynchronous workloads.

Process large volumes of logs and production telemetry to create realistic test scenarios.

Develop automation for load testing and integrate tools with CI/CD pipelines.
-
Use LLM-assisted workflows to analyze traffic patterns and generate test scenarios.

Analyze performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering, QA, SRE, and DevOps teams.

Implement automated performance regression testing.
Required Skills:
-
6+ years of software engineering experience.

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or C++.

Experience with performance testing, load testing, and traffic replay.

Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, WebSockets, and distributed systems.

Experience with large-scale data processing, logs, automation, and developer tooling.

Understanding of latency, throughput, concurrency, and scalability.

Experience with databases and SQL.
