Job Title: Event Management Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an Event Management Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps to support intelligent IT operations in a large banking environment. This role focuses on event correlation, automation, and AI-driven incident management while working closely with DevOps and SRE teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support Watson AIOps event management and topology
- Build and maintain event ingestion from monitoring tools
- Reduce alert noise using AI-based correlation and suppression
- Design automation and remediation workflows (runbooks)
- Integrate event management with DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Support migration from legacy tools such as Netcool/NOI
- Document event flows and operational procedures
What We re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with Watson AIOps
- Strong background in event management and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines
- Scripting experience with Python or Bash
- Experience with Kafka, REST APIs, and webhooks
- Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, or Cloud)
- Docker & Kubernetes experience
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $65 $70 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
