Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Appian BPM Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of complex business process automation solutions using the Appian platform. This role will focus on building scalable enterprise applications, integrating multiple systems, and translating business requirements into secure, high-performance digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of applications on the Appian BPM platform.
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into optimized Appian process models and digital workflows.
  • Develop and maintain SAIL interfaces, Expression Rules, Process Models, CDTs, Sites, and Appian integrations.
  • Build and manage Appian Records, Reports, Database Views, and Stored Procedures.
  • Design and implement Appian security models, groups, roles, access control, and decision tables.
  • Ensure adherence to Appian and database best practices, performance standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Integrate Appian with external systems, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
  • Collaborate with global business users, solution architects, product owners, and technical teams to define requirements and system design.
  • Lead code reviews, performance tuning, and quality assurance activities.
  • Support deployments, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work effectively both as an independent contributor and as part of cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Appian developers when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in design and development of enterprise applications using Appian BPM.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with SAIL, Expression Rules, Process Models, CDTs, Records, Sites, and Reports.
  • Advanced knowledge of Appian architecture, process orchestration, and data management.
  • Strong experience with database design, DB views, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
  • Expertise in Appian security, groups, decision tables, and governance models.
  • Proven experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP, APIs, messaging frameworks).
  • Experience working in global delivery models and distributed teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in enterprise-scale environments with complex workflows and compliance needs.
