Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Visual Inspection Technician for a position with a Pharmaceutical Company located in Fremont, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on executing routine unit operations in Visual Inspection related to the manufacturing of drug product in a multi-product cGMP facility. The ideal candidate will perform duties under limited supervision according to standard operating procedures, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities: - Execute routine unit operations in Visual Inspection as assigned
- Perform complex fundamental operations including visual inspection, palletizing, cleaning, and inspection hood prep
- Assist with drug product filling and packaging
- Manage logistics coordination, batch record executions, and equipment use logs
- Initiate and track work orders
- Document work according to cGMP and cGDP
- Adhere to established regulations, safety standards, and cGMP
- Report abnormalities and deviations in a timely manner
- Maintain production areas according to 5s standards
- Contribute to Quality activities such as supporting investigations and corrective actions
Requirements: - High school degree
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a cGMP regulated industry
- Ability to concentrate on detail-oriented work in a complex technical setup
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with computer-based systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Ability to read and understand SOPs and instructions
- Ability to work as part of a high performing team
- Must be able to read and see clearly, with acceptable results from vision testing including for color blindness
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Desired skills: - Associate's/Bachelor's degree or biotechnology vocational training preferred
Pay range: up to $29.56 per hour
