Description
The IT Support Specialist provides on-site technical support for a key facility in Eden Prairie.
Essential Functions
Provide technical support for end users in person, over the phone, and via remote tools
Deliver hands-on support for shop floor and operational technology equipment
Resolve issues directly or escalate following defined processes
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on IT and shop floor equipment
Troubleshoot and escalate general hardware and software issues
Image and enroll PCs according to corporate standards
Perform basic Active Directory tasks such as password resets
Provide training to end users on hardware and software
Set up new employee PCs and support onboarding activities
Manage Windows security settings and local vulnerabilities, act as onsite contact for cyber incident remediation
Purchase and provision IT supplies as needed
Assist users with local data backups
Participate in IT audits and provide required documentation
Work with third-party vendors for proof-of-concepts, procurement, and issue resolution
Provide remote-hands support to regional and global level 2 and level 3 Infrastructure and Network Engineers
Requirements
Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory administration
Experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Experience configuring and maintaining Windows PCs, peripherals, and basic wireless network troubleshooting
Experience with EntraID, Intune, and ServiceNow
Two+ years of IT experience
CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications
