Role: IT Sr Software Developer (.NET, Duck Creek)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Contract
NOTE: This position is only open for W2.
Job Description:
The contractor will be performing application functions in all application assets aligned to IT business platforms. Looking for a contractor to fill a Software Developer Sr role on a Service Management team which is responsible for creating Monitoring and Alerting for the Core Auto org. We currently have systems engineers, but we need a developer added to the ranks. Our processes and teams work in a variety of delivery methodologies including waterfall, Scrum, DevOps and continuous delivery.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Fixing logging issues, upgrading logging
Implementing Splunk Observability, ITSI
Provide guidance to other development teams on logging standards
Required skills:
Proficient in C# .NET language, MS SQL Server, XML, XSLT, Visual Studio
Experience in Duck Creek Field Engineering
Experience using Git with Visual Studio
Experience using Visual Studio to Pull updates, create local branches, commit changes, Push local branch to the origin
Experience using the browser to Clone Git repos to your local machine
Experience using the browser to create a Pull request and assign code reviewers
Experience working with Microsoft technology stack (Windows Server, Visual Studio, TFS, ADO pipelines)
Experience with Splunk

Education And/Or Experience Required:
- Minimum of 7 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
- {OR} Completion of a technical training program and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
- {OR} bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
