Who We're Looking ForThe Stability & Productivity Engineering (SPE) team within Toyota Financial Services CTO organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Manager to drive product strategy, process and product innovation to improve digital employee experience within TFS. In this role, you will own product vision for IT asset lifecycle management as well as ITSM process management disciplines while also championing improvements to the employee onboarding and collaboration experience.
You will partner closely with engineering teams, service operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex enterprise IT needs into clear, measurable outcomes. Your ability to build roadmaps grounded in data insights, synthesize customer feedback, and align priorities with organizational goals will be central to your success.
What You'll Be Doing- Define product requirements, user journeys, and acceptance criteria for features spanning employee experience, asset management and ITSM process domains.
- Manage end-to-end feature lifecycle from discovery through delivery, testing, and rollout within a platform environment.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment with service operations, infosec, architecture, HR, and engineering leadership to secure approvals and dependencies.
- Communicate roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders, translating technical delivery into business impact narratives.
- Review and re-align product strategy quarterly against commitments and shifting organizational priorities.
- Define, own, and execute the product roadmap for IT asset management capabilities-including hardware discovery, software catalog automation, and ITSM process management capabilities (problem management, incident management, and change management)
- Establish data analysis frameworks and product metrics to measure ITSM operational health, asset inventory accuracy, and service management effectiveness.
- Drive adoption of service management eventing and analytical platforms to surface actionable insights across incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms that tie product outcomes to key operational metrics
- Leverage data to prioritize backlog opportunities, validate feature hypotheses, and communicate product value to engineering and executive stakeholders.
- Own the product roadmap to improve employee onboarding experience, enable role-based and birthright access to common productivity apps
- Partner with Productivity Engineering to enhance collaboration experience across Microsoft 365-including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and M365 Copilot-reducing friction in daily workflows.
What You Bring- 6-10 years of experience in product management, technical product ownership, or a related technology leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience building and executing product roadmaps, preferably for IT service management, enterprise platforms, or internal tooling.
- Proficiency in data-driven product thinking-defining metrics, building dashboards, and using analytics to inform prioritization and strategy.
- Working knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL or equivalent): incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
- Experience with IT asset management tools and practices, including hardware/software inventory, lifecycle tracking, and license compliance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to align diverse teams and present complex information clearly to senior leadership.
- Proficiency with agile product methodologies, backlog management, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Added Bonus If You Have- Experience working in a CTO or enterprise IT organization within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, including request management, change workflows, and automation.
- Understanding of observability principles: SLIs, SLOs, alerting strategies, and operational telemetry.
- Experience with employee experience platforms.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
